…. can seem like a thousand miles. It feels that far from my first attempt at blogging to now. The time is right to share some of the things rattling around in my head (oh, and I came up with a decent domain name). I’ll cover the things that matter to me (revolutionary, don’t ya think?) such as: carpentry, family, liberty, Catholicism, teaching, music, Austrian Economics, pool, poker, hockey, video games, guitar, yard work. I hope what you find here makes you think by either pleasing or infuriating you. In thinking we sharpen our ideas, learning what works and discarding what doesn’t. That’s how we get improvement.
About the name,
This story led to this site name since I’m not a finished work by any stretch. The idea of “presenting the world with one improved unit” is incredibly appealing to me. On the journey to improvement I’ll certainly slide off the path now and then but I’m sure things will get set right…eventually. Today is March 14, 2016 and on The Tom Woods Show #617 Dr. Ron Paul talked about improving one’s self by learning and studying. Good karma I’d say.
