In the short time (geologically) that I’ve neglected this blog you’ll be pleased to know that I haven’t been a total slug. I’ll try and catch up over the next few posts.
Looking back at my first post this is a view of the area that contains the mower, blower, chainsaw, rakes, shovels and other yard tools.
The shelf (corner) and shelving unit removed and set aside to be reconfigured for something else.
Swept out and things set in place (largely).
This still left me with an unappealing jumble of tools standing in the corner. I ran across this on the internet and got an idea.
First looking at the space in the corner, I took all the tools and got an efficient layout.
When that was done I put the plywood on the wall and transferred the layout and used some scrap pvc to make holders for the tools.
With the first part done I could move on to the really cool part. I went to amazon and found the parts needed to hang a sliding barn door. I built a 3′ panel to go with the 6′ track I bought.
Then it was just a matter of adding tools to the panel.
Filling in with the things that should be in the same area.
The dolly underneath has two totes containing bungee cords, ratchet straps and other car related stuff.
Extended the shelf to get more stuff off the ground.
A place to put the laptop when I need it in the shop. There is a water-cooler now where the golf clubs are in this picture. I’ll show what happened to the clubs in the future.
The finished (as if anything is ever finished) space. 
I can get my truck in here now if I ever need to.
