Okay it’s been a few weeks since my last post and I haven’t been totally slacking in that time and here is some proof.
I’ve reconfigured the sink area from this disaster:
to this:
Still no real drain but the whole thing isn’t going to fall over. I took an old door (I still have two more by the way) and turned it into a table with a cut out for the sink.
Continuing the mowers new home. I added some shelves to handle some of the totes that were taking up space on a different shelf (Which will hopefully be moved to a new home not on my property). Below that I put a cabinet that to hold any car/mower related stuff.
By moving some of the totes and getting the lime and fertilizer ready for a move into the actual yard gave me an opportunity to put two fixtures that I made for the bed of my truck onto the shelving unit and do what I designed them for. The first one (third shelf from bottom) sits on the driver side and is where my main tool belt items go in the front and also holds my Dewalt miter saw stand, level and saw horses.
The other one (bottom shelf) covers two drawers and allows me to store milk crates with various stuff. The way I’m now able to store theses I can easily load them into my truck and use them. Strange concept but I’m warming to it.
We’ll finish on the entertainment area. I put Pop’s old stereo to work. This thing has been on it’s last leg forever but it’s still kicking.
I’ll be back at it Saturday.
Peace
