Okay I’m back. After a couple weeks (Easter and a very hectic time at work) I got back to the clean up project. From this:

I came to the realization that a bucket of random screws and nails would always be a waste of space. So in the trash they go. Along with the other crap I was holding on to for no real reason, two 50 pound concrete door stops (formerly fast setting bags), old window screens!?!. Hard work pays off:
I have an idea for storage in the corner by the door using rolling overhead brackets or actually a home made version there of but more on that next time.
